Unequal Happy Hour: Findings on the Gender Pay Gap in WV

In 2017, women working full time, year-round made $12,346 less than men, a gap of 26%. The pay gap is one of the most recognizable workplace struggles for gender equity.
Join us (West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy plus Boss Babes WV, Mountaineers for Progress, WV FREE, and Morgantown NOW Public Page) to discuss our latest paper “Climbing the Mountain: Closing the Gender Pay Gap in West Virginia”
Women will pay 26% less for speciality drinks to close the gap, and we’ll be joined by community leaders to discuss positive policy change for the future of West Virginia.
Additionally, we will have a Development Advising Specialist available to review resumes and offer feedback.
