Integrated Voter Engagement (IVE)

WV FREE engages in significant movement-building by coordinating our large-scale IVE program via door-to-door and phone bank canvassing, asking residents for their support of reproductive rights and their pledge to vote. In 2016, we launched robo-calls to legislators on a second trimester method ban bill and a state-level Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) which created simple one-touch access action for constituents to call their legislators and express their concerns regarding these bills.

Get Out the Vote

In conjunction with our IVE work, we also register people to vote, coordinate transportation to the polls if needed, and help voters register for absentee ballots.
